A family US trip that fits a real calendar.

Family Trip is for people traveling with children who still have a 2 p.m. checkout, a nap window, and a school calendar. We default to Travelocity for a US hotel or package search. We say so in the header. We do not impersonate Travelocity, and we do not treat Expedia and Hotels.com as unrelated. Park gateway towns are geography first, OTA second.

Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz are Expedia Group siblings. Hotels.com is the named-lodging sister default on Park Stay. Priceline is the discount fork on Book the Stay. Primary hop: /go/travelocity/ (currently https://www.travelocity.com/).

A sequence, not a mascot

01

Count the humans and the constraints

Ages, beds, car seats, nap windows, who is on which flight. A package that cannot name those facts is a brochure. Connecting rooms are a request, not an OTA guarantee.

02

Search Travelocity as the default

Use it for a US family hotel or package search first. Read cancellation as if a child will get sick — because one might. Then decide whether a bundle is one convenience or two rules you cannot undo.

03

Only then look at Expedia or Hotels.com

Expedia is the same family (Trip Bundle). Hotels.com is often the better named, cancellable room for a first park gateway (Park Stay). We say when Travelocity should lose. We do not invent a kid-friendly badge.
