Family Trip

A family US trip that fits a real calendar.

About

Family Trip is a booking-desk lander, not a brand site

Family Trip is a small independent lander for US family hotel and package bookings, including the gateway towns next to national parks. The default recommendation is Travelocity.

We publish tradeoffs against Expedia and Hotels.com because those are the tabs a parent already has open. We would rather say when Travelocity should lose than pretend a commission makes a prepaid package safe around a sick child.

Related: Park Week (the week, including family weeks), Park Stay (named lodging), Trip Bundle (Expedia packages), Package Trip (Orbitz packages), Book the Stay (Priceline), Park Car (cars).

Who publishes this

4 Life Health Wealth LLC publishes Family Trip. Gary Thomas is responsible for what the site says, including the decision not to invent prices, star ratings, coupons, or first-person trail reports.

There is no newsroom and no mystery-shop of every hotel in Springdale. There is also no invented biography: we do not claim awards, “preferred partner” badges, or a panel of certified travel experts.

Related sites

Park Week is the sister editorial property for US national-park weeks (one lodging base, two paid activities, optional travel insurance). Book the Stay, Park Stay, and Park Car cover Priceline, Hotels.com, and airport cars. Trip Bundle, Package Trip, and Family Trip exist so a Commission Junction reviewer — and a traveler — can see a dedicated, honest landing page for Expedia, Orbitz, and Travelocity instead of a generic “we love travel” blog or a fake merchant clone.

Corrections

If a shuttle rule, a rewards program name, or an airport-to-gateway drive time is wrong, email gary@4lifehealthwealth.com with a source URL. We would rather update a paragraph than defend a stale one.
